Creating an account is simple! Click the "Get Started" button in the top right corner of any page, or download our mobile app from the App Store or Google Play. You can sign up using your email address or connect with your Google or Facebook account. Once registered, you'll be able to browse chefs, place orders, and track your culinary journey.
Cook4Me is our premium service where professional chefs come to your home to prepare fresh, restaurant-quality meals in your own kitchen. Simply browse available chefs in your area, select your preferred menu, and schedule a time that works for you. The chef will arrive with all ingredients and equipment needed to create an amazing dining experience for you and your guests.
Use our interactive Chef Map to discover talented cooks near you. Simply enter your location or allow location access, and you'll see all available chefs in your area. You can filter by cuisine type, rating, and availability to find the perfect match for your culinary preferences.
To place an order, download our mobile app and browse available dishes from chefs in your area. Each dish has a unique Dish ID that you can search for directly. Select your preferred delivery time, add any special instructions, and complete your payment. You'll receive real-time updates on your order status.
Delivery times vary by chef and location, but most orders can be delivered within 1-3 hours. Each chef sets their own availability and delivery radius. You can see available delivery times when browsing dishes. We're currently available in major metropolitan areas and expanding rapidly.
Yes! You can schedule orders up to 7 days in advance. This is especially useful for special occasions, dinner parties, or when you want to ensure your favorite chef is available. Simply select your preferred date and time during the ordering process.
You can cancel or modify your order up to 2 hours before the scheduled delivery time for a full refund. For Cook4Me services, we require 24 hours notice. Contact our support team through the app or call our helpline for assistance with changes.
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All payments are processed securely through our encrypted payment system. You can save multiple payment methods in your account for convenience.
Each chef sets their own prices for dishes and services. Prices include all ingredients and preparation. For regular orders, you'll see the total price upfront with no hidden fees. Cook4Me services may have additional charges for travel and setup, which will be clearly displayed before booking.
We offer full refunds for cancellations made at least 2 hours before delivery (24 hours for Cook4Me). If you're unsatisfied with your order, contact us within 24 hours and we'll work to resolve the issue, which may include a full or partial refund, credit, or replacement meal.
Visit our "Join as a Chef" page to start your application. You'll need to provide information about your culinary background, complete food safety certification, and pass a kitchen inspection. Our team will guide you through the entire onboarding process, which typically takes 1-2 weeks.
Earnings vary based on your location, cuisine type, and activity level. After platform fees (typically 8-10%), most chefs earn $15-50 per hour depending on their pricing and efficiency. Top-performing chefs in busy areas can earn $1,000-3,000 per month. You set your own prices and schedule.
Payments are processed weekly every Monday for the previous week's completed orders. Funds are deposited directly to your bank account within 2-3 business days. You can track your earnings and payment history in your chef console dashboard.
All chefs must complete food safety certification and undergo kitchen inspections. We maintain strict standards for ingredient sourcing, preparation, and delivery. Our platform includes real-time temperature monitoring for deliveries and comprehensive insurance coverage for all orders.
Each dish listing includes detailed allergen information. Chefs are trained in allergen management and use separate preparation areas when needed. Always inform your chef of any allergies or dietary restrictions when placing your order. We take food allergies very seriously and have protocols in place to prevent cross-contamination.

Log into your account and navigate to "Profile Settings" in the app or website. You can update your personal information, delivery addresses, payment methods, and dietary preferences. Changes are saved automatically and will apply to future orders.
To delete your account, contact our support team through the app or email support@whatscooking.menu. We'll process your request within 48 hours. Note that account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Any pending orders will need to be completed or cancelled first.
Go to "Account Settings" in your profile and select "Change Password." You'll need to enter your current password and create a new one. For security, we recommend using a strong password with at least 8 characters, including numbers and special characters.
